PRFCT Form records short practice clips and analyses body position. This policy explains what happens on your device, what is stored in the cloud, and how clips may be used to improve our movement-analysis models.
Pose analysis runs locally on your device using Apple Vision and on-device models. Your clip is analysed on the phone, not on a server. Whether a copy of the clip is also uploaded to us depends on the model improvement programme described in the next section.
Accounts are enrolled by default. While you are enrolled, clips you record and the pose data derived from them are uploaded to us and used to train our own movement-analysis models. You can leave at any time in Settings → Privacy → Model improvement, which stops further uploads and deletes the clips you have already contributed.
We use contributed clips for one purpose: training and evaluating the movement-analysis models inside PRFCT Form.
We do not sell, trade, licence, rent, share or otherwise transfer your clips or the data derived from them to any third party. They are not used for advertising, not used to build profiles about you, and not disclosed to anyone outside our company except the infrastructure providers named below who store the data on our behalf. If that ever changes, we will ask for your agreement first — a change of this kind will not be made by quietly updating this page.
You should understand what a contributed clip contains: it shows your face and body, and the derived pose data describes your body's proportions and how you move. That is why leaving the programme deletes what you have contributed, rather than merely stopping new uploads.
Leaving the programme costs you no features, and enrolment is never a condition of any purchase.
The model improvement programme is limited to users aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly upload or use clips or personal information belonging to minors, and coaches may not contribute clips of athletes under 18. If we learn that a minor's clip has been contributed, we delete it.
Users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom are not enrolled by default. In those regions the programme is off until you explicitly turn it on, because local law requires prior consent rather than an opportunity to opt out.
Signing in is handled by Firebase Authentication using Sign in with Apple, Google, or an anonymous guest session. Depending on the method you choose, we receive and store:
Guest sessions do not include an email address or name. We do not sell or trade your account information.
If you create or join a team, the team name, roster, invite codes, messages you post, and any files you attach are stored in Google Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage so other members of that team can see them. Only members of a team can read its content. Team chat content is not contributed to the model improvement programme.
Subscriptions and clip packs are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment details. The app asks StoreKit whether your Apple ID currently holds an active subscription and stores only that yes-or-no answer on your device.
If you buy a clip pack, the number of clips you have purchased and used is stored with your account so that the balance is not lost if you reinstall the app. That record is a pair of counts and contains no payment information.
The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, handle, messages you have posted, files you have uploaded, and your team memberships, and deletes your authentication record. Teams for which you were the last remaining coach are deleted with it.
Deleting your account also deletes every clip you contributed to the model improvement programme.
Account and team data is retained until you delete your account or leave the team. Contributed clips are retained until you withdraw them or delete your account.
PRFCT Form is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If a coach uses the app with minors, the coach is responsible for obtaining any consent their jurisdiction requires. Minors' data is never contributed to the model improvement programme.
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage) to run accounts and team features, and Apple for app distribution and payments. Data is processed on their infrastructure under their respective terms.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. The in-app deletion described above satisfies deletion requests immediately, and the programme switch in Settings withdraws consent and deletes contributed clips immediately.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so there is nothing to opt out of. For anything else, contact us at the address below.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required, ask for your agreement again in the app.
